At Stylenoir we simply adore it when brands take the film noir era for inspiration. This time it is Donna Karan for their just released AW13 campaign, taking a colossal dose of neo-noir not only for influence but for full out aesthetic.
The campaign stars Catherine McNeil in a sultry and sensual environment, reminiscent of ‘A Perfect Murder’ and ‘Final Analysis’. Without doubt the open legs of Catherine McNeil in two of the campaign shots is a nod to that now infamous moment played by Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct.
