Photographer Louis Christopher decided to take on the aesthetic of Anime and Gothic and combine them in this beautiful new editorial “Anima Dark”.

The outstanding idea about this photoshoot is the western influence. It easy to tell the editorial was inspired by Anime culture, but it’s very subtle, with strong western stylings, giving the whole vision a certain uniqueness.

The plethora of black leather and strong silhouette really give the whole vision a style noir feel, especially since every single item of clothing is noir.

The editorial originally appeared in Grazia Italia and Anime Dark translates directly as “Dark Soul”.
