Artist Denis Medri has decided to look at a new take on the Batman franchise. Turning the clocks back 60 years and imagining what Batman and his arch villains could have looked like in the 1950s

The sketches feature an incredible hotrod Batmobile [shown above], the most famous villains including The Penguin, Harley Quinn, Two Face and The Riddler. Of course Batman, Robin and Catwoman also feature heavily.

The stylings and aesthetics of each character are exquisitly done. The pin-up aesthetic of Catwoman, along side the aforementioned hot-rod look, is one we are colossal fans of, even Robin looks good this time around.

Be sure to check out Denis Medri’s Deviantart for more incredible artworks.

Question is, can Anne Hathaway match Catwomen’s edginess in The Dark Knight Rises?
