illamasqua theatre of the nameless tLadies and gentlemen, boys and girls, roll up roll up… for this is the moment you have all been waiting for, the teaser of Illamasqua‘s brand new Autumn Winter 11 collection; Theatre of the Nameless

The collection takes a look back through history to the age of the 1920s, with flapper and burlesque influences in abundance. Conjuring a vision of a delicate porcelain doll trapped by her captors, performance upon performance, twirl upon twirl, for that is all she knows. Through her pain and strive, through her dedication no matter how circular it may be, shines true beauty, an innocence so pure that no matter how darkness engulfs this creature, her performance, her ideal will never be tainted.

Alex Box once again creates an outstanding concept and vision, especially through the teaser campaign imagery. Her talent quite possibly unparalleled.

The collection launches online Friday the 2nd of September and in stores on the 8th of September.
