Alber Elbaz has consistently grown Lanvin to one of the most exquisite and beautiful fashion houses in the world. This Lanvin Spring Summer 2013 certainly didn’t buck the trend.

There may have been twinges of Gothic subtly accenting this collection, but the aesthetic was certainly one of alluring, sexy noir.

The models looked empowered, sexually charged and beautifully strong. It was an aesthetic that worked perfectly for the Lanvin brand and one we were instantly lusting over.

Both the shapes and textures within this SS13 collection were mesmerising. The juxtaposition of reinforced leather, against silk and chiffon as well as the silhouette formed by tight structure against power dressing made the whole show exquisite.

Certainly one of our favourite collections of this spring summer, a very different style noir element, one laced with sexual, alluring tendencies.
