Sheila Frank is an independent designer located on the east coast of America and has recieved numerous awards whilst studying at the Moore College of Art and Design. It might seem out of the norm to bring an Autumn/Winter swim-wear collection out, but Sheila thinks outside the box and we don't blame her. After-all with seasons merging into one, sun in winter, storms in summer and swim-wear becoming the new undergarments of vintage lovers, you can't go wrong with a one piece swimsuit under high waisted shorts on those hot days. Sheila doesn't hold back on her inspiration claiming it was drawn from vaudeville, burlesque and sex, going on to say that her pieces try to blend a classic touch with modern elements to create a timeless garment. The collection itself brings about a number of one and two piece garments, colours are kept beautifully minimal with blacks and purples taking the limelight. The subtle pattern appearing on black gives off a sleek textured look that any girl would be jealous of, by the pool side or out on the street With her love of design in passed eras and her ambition to make her line a household name Sheila Frank is one to keep a firm eye on.
