What do David LaChapelle, Daphne Guinness and prestigious car maker Maybach all have in common? Well, quite frankly nothing, but that doesn't mean they can't pull off one of the best photoshoots we've seen in a long time!

Maybach's owner Daimler commissioned LaChapelle to promote the Maybach Zeppelin model. Taking both the 1931 model and the new 2009 masterpiece. Of course there was no doubt in our minds that he could deliver. LaChapelle giving a stunning interpretation of past and present along with the brand's mantra.

The two main shots create quite a sinister, yet twisted enviroment. The most modern taking the luxurious limousine and placing it in a decaying no mans land. The earth literally looks as it is decaying. This contrasted with Daphne Guinness' presence and well, that safe of rather expensive looking jewellery. The second is LaChapelle's twisted view of a 1932 scene. The lighting around Daphne, giving her a very powerful aura in the image. The rest of the image is rather sexual, like a simple new year's party has been evilly corrupted.

We absolutely adore this and hope you do too. Click on the images below to enlarge.
