As a child Decadent Designs creator Olga Lipnitski used to dig holes in the ground, hoping to find a treasure chest filled with Victorian ball gowns. Born in Kiev, Ukraine her passion for creativity and love of fashion was started at a very young age. Completely self taught, that dream of one day finding gowns has grown into creating beautiful dresses and fashion that have an outstanding vision and imagination. Decadent creates this exceptional fusion of sinister, avant garde and attitude that no one can compare to. Although badged as an "alternative to mainstream fashion", you can forget that, Decadent leaves mainstream fashion gasping for breath. The imagination, structure and incredible design that Olga creates in each piece simply blows our minds. Whilst the range is diverse, from ball gowns and sophisticated cocktail dresses, to PVC pencil skirts and crop pants. One thing is shown in each and every garment, the strong focused style which is signature to the Decadent Designs range. This along with high quality materials, attention to detail and even a custom made service is what puts the brand above the rest. Our two absolute favourite pieces have to be the lace & chiffon gown and the lace cocktail dress. The gown is simply exquisite, the bodice features horizontal lace stripes over a mesh fabric continuing down to eight layers of chiffon frills. Whilst the lace cocktail dress is based on a satin fabric with a rose patterned lace neckline and sublimely cut puff ball sleeves. It's great to see a darker, more edgy independent fashion label not only with sure talent, but with the style and ethos to back it up.
