If any collection was straight forward this season it had to be PPQ's colour palette. Black and Gold, straight up, no messing around. To be honest it worked wonders, creating this strong and concise collection that had the fashion pack savoring each and every outfit that hit the runway. At Stylenoir we really were loving the amount of matte leather around this season and PPQdid not disappoint. Leather pants with what looked like the perfect fit came hurtling down the catwalk along side gold leather shorts and even a gold leather trench coat. There was however a more sophisticated side, whilst we were huge fans of the patents, soft metallics and oversized bunny bows there had to be something for the lovers of PPQ's signature party frocks. For that Molyneaux and Parker had produced some gorgeous LBD's with intricate gold brocade detailing, giving a different texture to the power-styled collection. The shoes were simply gorgeous and a serious talking point. We saw Jodie Harsh many a time eyeing up a pair, most definitely for her wardrobe next season. Platform sky high heels in patent gold and black, with oversized bows. They really were outlandish and sublime all in one. PPQ managed to pull it off all over again refreshing and rejuvenating that signature style. We've been reporting PPQ for almost two years now and the simple fact is, they never fail. - James Mills
