If there was one thing to take from the Louise Gray AW2010 presentation it was the word fun. The whole collection and space created a playful yet quirky feel to the whole event. Models were happily chatting and joining each other in spurs of dance for the cameras and Louise Gray's talent really shone out. Using a gorgeous array of textures and many different stitch and knit techniques Gray had created garments that were as vibrant and colourful as a Dulux paint factory. It was refreshing to be drawn away from the stress and over-seriousness of fashion week and be taken on a lively and entertaining journey. A plethora of interesting and unique ideas came through in this collection. Vividly dyed oversized furs in fuchsia, burnt orange and royal blue sat alongside perforated scarfs and shorts as well as wrap around patchwork quilts. For the sheer creativity, experience and originality Louise Gray's AW2010 collection has to be one of our favourites from this week.
