SAGA Furs

A few days ago we recieved an email from a PR agency on behalf of the Animal Defenders Institute. It slammed fur being used for the AW 2010 season and simply asked us to cover this cause.

So we will, but not in the way they want. Because if something annoys us more than anti-fur protesters it's people and companies who fail to research or even Google the "cause" they're actually fighting.

We'll scrap most of the arguments for now and just point you towards SAGA fox furs. This is the company that produced fur for the Todd Lynn and Pam Hogg shows, the exact shows that ADI are highlighting. Unfortunately for ADI, SAGA fox furs specialise in humanity and care for animals during the fur process, so when this email speaks of " the horrific conditions and cruelty to which captive fox and mink, bred and killed for fur, are subjected to" it is quite frankly complete and utter lies.

Secondly Stylenoir has turned down ad campaigns from the RSPCA and been separated from anti-fur brands. So don't go emailing us about the anti-fur cause, because surprisingly enough, this will be the result.

To check out SAGA Furs for yourself visit Sagafurs.com to learn about fur breeding, grading and SAGA's mission. There's also some great examples of pieces from LFW and New York Fashion Week.
