We have a problem with the word blog, it's getting passed around like a hot potato by people going through a mid life crisis, trying to grasp onto something that can make them remotely in touch. Which means one thing, it is being used wrongly and far too much, so we need to set the record straight.

Now, if your intellect and observational skills have failed you, lets have a short web lesson. Blog is short for "web log", a page of diary or commentary of entries in reverse chronological order and maintained by one person. Adding to this, blogs normally take other content and re-post this, whether it be images or articles.

Take Stylenoir for instance, with our original TV footage, original interviews, and original exclusive photoshoots. A million miles away from a "web log", so if you're a PR agency going through lists and email us with the line "please feature on your BLOG", it gets an instant delete. You might as well be a 67 year old senile grandmother to us, because it is quite obvious you have no idea what you're talking about.

So for anyone who does not know the real meaning of the word blog, stop trying to grasp at something in social media and user generated content that you understand and go have a lie down, thank you.
