As noir starts to take over fashion once again, there are some projects that are becoming ever prominent of the style noir.

Designer Phillip Lim is about to release a comic book entitled “Kill The Night” which is influenced and inspired from modern fiction such as Sin City and the incredible V for Vendetta with “the neo-noir heroines” that feature so strongly within the aesthetic.

Phillip Lim stated about the project “A story of duality and metamorphosis, day and night, black and white, love and betrayal. Things are not what they seem. Look again.”

We are truly excited about this project as it gives the noir, dark aesthetic a catapult into mainstream fashion. Even more exciting is the prospect of a neo noir heroine that is a cross between Evey Hammond and Nancy Callahan. Surely one hell of a woman.
