Miuccia Prada turned models at the Prada Autumn Winter 2012 fashion show into Manga-inspired princesses with Technicolor, futuristic hair and makeup.

“Miuccia always cross-references periods and modernity. She realizes that we’re in a completely new age, so she was looking toward computer images,” said hairstylist Guido Palau, in discussing inspiration for the look he crafted. ”The look that Miuccia Prada wanted was like a virtual princess, so we’ve done makeup taken from a virtual, other world,” continued makeup artist Pat McGrath. This was truly a look that was out of this world.
