Rachel Freire VS Neurotica

minotaur stand1Somewhere in the great fields of time there lies, in a meadow, a half woman, half Minotaur. Resting secluded under swaying trees adorned by diamond eyed skulls, guarded by a bed of Venus fly traps and armed with lethal hand grenades. This is no ordinary world, this is the incredible imagination of Rachel Freire and Victoria McGrane, and it just came to life.

For Spring Summer 2011 the two outstanding designers decided to collaborate on a series of very limited edition T-shirts. Available exclusively at Not Just A Label. The designs range from the aforementioned Minotaur, to a mermaid on smack, aptly named “Smackmaid”. There is even a beautiful picnic scene, ruined by Courtney Love, a fierce attitude and plenty of alcohol.

It really is no surprise that the Minotaur version is Stylenoir Mag’s favourite, illustrated by Victoria McGrane and even brought to life by the brilliant photographer David Alexandre. Everything about this design encompasses the fearless, strong, yet seductive woman we so adore.

When it comes to imagination and vision, there is none more twisted than Rachel Freire and Victoria McGrane. To get your hands on one of these achingly cool tops, simply visit SHOP.NOTJUSTALABEL
