The Goddess Of Night
30th August

Light and dark collide together, fracturing the tranquility of a still, peaceful yet relentless abyss, a tainted blackness is awoken, a violent impact in the hands of time bores the creation. Yet, hanging above silently, effortlessly, as if suspended by a single delicate thread is a rare, exquisite sight; The primordial Goddess of the Night.
Revealing her figure of exceptional power and beauty, the alluring magnificent splendor of her existence. Drifting her path through time between the shadows, like water trickling down crystal encrusted slate. Bearer of dreams and doom, death and sleep, beyond good and evil.
Her phenomenal strength partnered with alluring, unresisting beauty. A vast danger to all those who have the honour to lay eyes upon her. A toxic mirage, a poisonous oasis.
When cast in sunlight, the radiance given off becomes like warm stone. A statue caringly crafted, magnifying … Read More »
Chamber of Tortures
15th May

Abandoned. An outcast to society, persecuted, judged, even victimized for being true to oneself.
When isolation and solitary desire become choice. Purposely lost in a world created by your own imagination. When the darkest monsters and your most haunting enemies, are created by yourself.
When a need to lurk in the shadows is no longer needed, as you melt into them, absorbing the iniquity, the emptiness that has plagued your existence for longer than your memory dares let you remember.
When darkness becomes all you know, an obsession, an addiction to emptiness, nestling into pain, a place where that agonising twist of the knife makes you feel safe, even sheltered.
Prevailed upon by a childlike innocence, although suppressed clinging to hope, the pinnacle, the ultimate of feelings. Because no matter what is thrown at you, no matter how much … Read More »

Helene Atsuko
3rd May

This article has been along time coming, but we finally decided the time was right. Hélène Atsüko is one of our favourite models in the UK. Her dramatic following, her unique look and distinct aesthetic defines alternative modeling at its very roots.
You don’t need to take our word for it either, among her high profile fans and supporters, Helene boasts some of the best names in the industry. In our opinion the great HMS Latex puts it best, stating Helene as “the perfect blend of edgy and classic beauty”.
It’s that distinct beauty that makes Helene really stand out among the rest. Her definition and of course striking bald silhouette, make for a collision of epic proportions. There is no doubt that enables her to create wondrous images and an almost magical look.
We recently had the privilege of seeing Hélène Atsüko … Read More »
London Fashion Week x Stylenoir Magazine
17th April
This season at London Fashion Week we wanted to try something a little different. Instead of the monotonous days of show after show, we decided to take a day out and actually create instead of just report. Stylenoir’s core values are expressionism and creativity. With two weeks back to back fashion weeks from NY to London we had enough of reporting, rehashing something that hundreds of others would reproduce and thus; here is the result.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Bridget Blonde over for LFW so with the creativity of Catherine Day and the exceptional talent of Roseanna Velin along with the unprecedented help of Becc from Bloody Gray PR & the British Fashion Council, we decided to shoot in the gorgeous archway of Somerset House. Something that was particularly fitting as the designers used for the shoot were … Read More »
Alone In The End; The Deserted Sands UNSEEN
10th April

Following the colossal success of the Alone In The End editorial, we decided to publish a special treat; a select number of exclusive unseen images to invoke your thoughts and emotions…
Grains of sand drain through your dry, course fingers, as if time is sustaining without you, your own worth questioned. The blazing hot desert an ironic joke, as time has no emotion, no cares, cold and selfish.
Your last days will be spent exposed and vulnerable, attempting to survive while mother nature tricks and torments with the burning light becoming your worst enemy, tricking the senses, turning the rational, logical part of your mind into becoming an unhinged, unbalanced disorder with the very fabric of reality slipping from your existence.
This barren place encapsulating your life. Your mind begins to wonder, are you even significant enough to matter? Time has … Read More »
Ooh La Latex @ Torture Garden
19th March

A lone church stands exposed in the South of London, surrounded by normality, by the humdrum of daily life. But once a month, when the night is at its darkest, a tension fills the air, as the weird, the abnormal and the alien descend on its sacred grounds to unnerve and unsettle the pedestrian surroundings. We are of course talking the fetish feast of delights; Torture Garden.
A plethora of sensual latex was presented by the wondrous Juliana London at Ooh La Latex for her latest collection. The show split in to three main themes showing great diversity whilst keeping the collection strong and concise. Although it is no surprise that the most edgy of the three, adorned with spikes and hard lines was our favourite. Backed by music from Peaches added one seriously strong atmosphere.
Make-up was created … Read More »
Alone In The End
27th February
When the four horsemen finally descend onto a broken planet, chaos will reign, giving rise to an anarchy far stronger than you could even imagine. There will be those who fall, those who pray, and those who do everything in their power to survive.
But after the anguish, the pain and the noise, silence will creep into existence. The sounds of familiarity will fade from memory, the terror that reigned will die away, disappearing into the gloom. The mind will start to wander, and reality will become disconcerting and bewildering. Dreams, fantasies and nightmares will conjoin in the mind with a distorted vision of realism.
So when the globe is decaying into the cold hard rock it once was, what would it be like, to feel like the only one left breathing? When you finally face death, how would it … Read More »

4th February

There is a strong possibility you may be seriously envious of Roseanna Velin after reading this article, and there would be good reason for it. Roseanna is a make up artist who is extraordinarily talented, achingly creative, oozing originality and barely out of her teens. It is her unique signature style that first demanded our attention, and the more we see the more we adore her work.
The two things that stand out the most about Roseanna’s work is her uncompromising attention to detail and the stunning bold, yet fearless aesthetic that she has perfected. It is that incredible combination that puts Roseanna above the rest, and managing with ease to rise above those twice her age.
Collaborating with the likes of Sohui, Helene Atsuko, Lady Lucie, and Julian Kilsby, Roseanna has already begun to cement her place within … Read More »
Sohui: A dedication
1st February

Exceptional, phenomenal, unsurpassable; these are words that should never be used lightly, they hold great power and meaning and that is exactly why they start this article about Sohui. There is no doubt in our minds that Sohui’s modeling is quite frankly outstanding, and after her support for Stylenoir we wanted to create a special dedication… Read on.

Creating inspiring and innovative shape after shape, silhouette after silhouette, developing an enchanting and captivating style of true beauty.
Those that have worked with her, have nothing but praise. Julian Kilsby, Lacing Lilith and Catherine Day all have a colossal respect and admiration for Sohui. With Julian Kilsby stating “Everything she does … Read More »
