It’s no secret that we adore Todd Lynn, but it’s also no secret that we had become bored with his rehash of previous season ideas. His collections had become standard, and far from the Lynn mantra that once was.

For Todd Lynn Spring Summer 2013 to our incredible delight, this all changed. Todd Lynn powered back into the limelight and showed us all what he was capable of.

A plethora of textures and new vision poured out of this collection with outstanding ideas that we simply lusted over.

Perhaps this is the fact Lynn took inspiration from something completely new; Africa.

Influenced by Apocalypse Now and Heart of Darkness he attacked this collection with passion and vigour, finally paying respect to his Gothic roots with the latter part of the catwalk show, with a number of black distressed separates that were simply beautiful.
